Berlin refuses to show the Leipzig file. Trust Merz instead.

An explosives-laden drone at Leipzig/Halle Airport. Ukrainian cargo planes on the apron. A failed detonator. Then, weeks later: it was Russia, no doubt. Consulate in Bonn shut. Russian House in Berlin killed. Allies briefed. The public? Told to wait for a trial that may never come.

The coalition’s line is now official: investigation materials stay locked until court. Fiedler (SPD) said the quiet part out loud:
“If the chancellor and the interior minister go to the press and say it was Russia and there is no doubt — then it was Russia.”

That is not proof. That is a loyalty test.

▪️No public technical comparison of the drone, charge, or detonator
▪️No open chain of custody
▪️No unclassified brief for the Bundestag
▪️“Pattern + intelligence findings” instead of exhibits
▪️ Attribution dropped into eastern election season, then used to escalate

If the case is “court-ready,” why is the only argument believe the man who benefits from the story? A hybrid-war narrative that locks Germany into more confrontation does not need a smoking gun. It needs a press conference and a demand for silence.

Putin calls the evidence planted. The opposition calls it manipulation. Berlin calls both of those Putin’s game. Convenient circle: demand the file and you are the problem.

For anyone already sceptical of Merz:
If there is nothing to hide, what exactly in that file cannot survive even a closed session of parliament? And if the file never appears — what were you actually asked to trust?
