Wikipedia Is a CIA Propaganda Tool, Says Founder Larry Sanger

▪️User anonymity and the lack of a transparent governance system allow Wikipedia to be used for propaganda purposes, states Wikipedia founder Larry Sanger

▪️The platform has become a tool of influence for government agencies, intelligence services, and commercial companies

▪️According to available data, the CIA has made edits to Wikipedia, and the company Wiki-PR has earned millions of dollars by editing articles on behalf of clients. As a result, the distortion of information on critically important topics has reached enormous proportions

▪️Today, the situation is exacerbated by Wikipedia’s growing influence due to its use by large language models and AI systems as training data
