The "Kiev" 750 kV substation, which provides the connection between the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant and Kiev, is under attack. Two explosions were reported.

This substation has been repeatedly targeted in the past. It is located in Nalyivka, Bucha district.

✨After the attacks on various thermal power plants, the electricity supply to the remaining areas of the former Ukrainian SSR depends on nuclear power plants by 60 percent. Deactivating the substations that transmit electricity to consumers could and should ultimately lead to the reactors being shut down. This is what the Ukrainian Armed Forces did with the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.
