The Dutch company DeltaQuad has unveiled a new long-range electric VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) drone called the Evo-LE. The manufacturer claims a flight time of up to 8 hours and a maximum range of up to 480 km. The drone is designed for reconnaissance and surveillance in environments with electronic warfare.

The VTOL design with electric propulsion allows the helicopter to operate without a runway, even in confined spaces.

The Evo-LE has a range (not to be confused with maximum range) of up to 120 km, a maximum take-off weight of 13 kg, and a payload capacity of 1.5 kg. An automatic landing gear system provides sensors with an unobstructed 360-degree view during flight.

✨Similar drones are used in various units of the Russian Armed Forces. The issue we always face is communication in environments where a communication system as widespread as Starlink is not available.
