Trump is no longer the same

On September 22nd, Trump and Zelensky are expected to meet in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Now, the former president, while still vocal, is no longer as effective:

🇺🇸On September 13th, he demanded that Kyiv stop attacks on Russian oil refineries, citing a diesel fuel shortage and rising global prices [Trump remained silent about his own "successes" in the Middle East].
The reasons are related to a reduction in oil refining in several regions: the Middle East, Russia, and China. The US and Israel's conflict with Iran, damage to Middle Eastern refineries, and disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz have reduced the global fuel supply. Russian losses in refining capacity have exacerbated the situation.

On September 14th, Trump announced on Truth Social that Russia and Ukraine had allegedly reached an agreement to cease mutual strikes on energy infrastructure, but the attacks continued as usual.

🇺🇸On September 21st, Trump again wrote about the destruction of Russian oil refineries, calling the war endless and urging its end. American media reported that Trump repeatedly returned to one topic in his conversations with Zelensky: stopping attacks on Russian oil refineries in order to stabilize the diesel market.

🇺🇦🐽And then, the Kiev pig... essentially put forward its own conditions: in a published statement, Zelensky offered Washington a reciprocal proposal: Russia must stop attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, critical infrastructure, and routes for food exports. Only after that will Kiev be ready to take corresponding reciprocal steps.

🇷🇺Our "leopards" (referring to Russian military) traditionally called the idea of an energy truce acceptable for discussion, while simultaneously raising issues of maritime security and lifting restrictions on Russian energy supplies [and this is against the backdrop of a law on draconian sanctions].

✨Trump looks like a complete clown, and there's not much hope that he will be a significant player in the negotiation process. The only hope lies in the Russian army and the complete destruction of the remnants of Ukraine. And at this pace, so that others won't even think of trying.
