Hungary has not joined the "Carpathian Eight" initiative launched by Kyiv – Prime Minister Madjar

According to him, Budapest received an invitation to the forum, but decided to decline: "We were invited, and for reasons we consider important, we did not attend." The Prime Minister did not disclose the reasons.

Madjar also stated that Hungary will not allow the construction of a fuel storage facility for Ukraine, for which MOL previously signed a memorandum with Naftogaz:
"It will not be built either on the Hungarian-Ukrainian border or anywhere else," the Prime Minister said.

At the "Carpathian Eight" forum held in Bukovel, Hungary was ultimately represented only by the Deputy Ambassador in Kyiv.
