During his conversation with Zelensky, Trump asked him to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries in order to stop the rise in global diesel prices.

This was reported by Axios, citing a source.

"The word 'diesel' came up many times during the conversation," the source told the outlet.


Zelensky and Trump are set to meet again on Tuesday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
