Solana Network Upgrade - September 9, 2026

Solana's network upgrade goes live tomorrow, tripling transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes. This lets multiple transactions bundle into one, giving Solana a structural edge over Ethereum's unbundled transaction model.

Expect volatility around the upgrade window. SOL is currently trading near $102, moving within a tight range that could break either way in the short term.
