🛰 New satellite imagery shows that China has built mock-ups of US F-35 and F-16 fighter jets, Patriot air-defense systems, and a Japanese Air Self-Defense Force E-767 AWACS aircraft at a recently developed training range in the desert near Lop Nur.

Industry media are paying particular attention to the E-767. Since the aircraft is operated only by Japan, which has just four of them, they suggest the mock-up may be intended for practicing scenarios involving Taiwan and Japan.

Since 2021, China has been building increasingly sophisticated replicas of US and Japanese military equipment in the deserts of Xinjiang for live-fire exercises and missile calibration.

However, the addition of Patriot air-defense system mock-ups and equipment specific to the Japanese military suggests that the range of simulated targets is expanding.

🌙 Overnight, Russian forces carried out a missile and drone strike on the Radionix facility and the B-Mobile data center in Kiev.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Radionix produces control systems for Flamingo, Neptune, FP-7 and FP-9 missiles, while the data center is used to transmit intelligence information.

Bloomberg reports that peak load on the power grid reached a record 1.56 billion kW.

🛸 Speculation about a UFO was dismissed by astronomers, who explained that the unusual effect was caused by the exhaust plume of a Soyuz-2.1b rocket launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome.

The trail was especially visible because the rocket exhaust was illuminated by the Sun.
