For most beginners, trading perps is not as simple as “open a trade and wait.”

You are watching margin, trying to avoid liquidation, and checking PnL every time price moves.

That is why options can feel easier to start with. You make a call on where price will go. If you are right, you profit. If you are wrong, your loss is usually limited to the amount you used to enter the trade.

With options:

• Your risk is defined from the start
The most you can lose is usually the amount you paid to enter the trade.

• You are not managing liquidation the same way as in perps.
With options, short-term price swings in the middle do not affect you. What matters more is whether price ends up moving in line with your prediction by the time your trade closes.

• You can choose a duration that fits your idea
Think price will move in the next minute? Or over the next few days? On Tradoor, you can choose durations from 1 minute to 30 days.

• White House met with banks and crypto leaders to try to unblock U.S. crypto legislation, but the meeting didn’t resolve the stalemate. One key debate: whether stablecoins can offer yield/rewards.

• Big liquidations: a large wave of forced closes hit the market as volatility spiked, showing too much leverage got wiped out.
