A massive landslide near Letekh in Nepal's Mustang District temporarily dammed the Kali Gandaki River when a large section of a mountain collapsed amid heavy rainfall. The resulting surge in water levels caused significant damage in the downstream Myagdi district, where the swollen river swept away crucial power poles.
