“The core signs of the Fourth Turning are collapsing trust in institutions, extreme polarization, economic instability, the breakdown of our shared reality and narratives, and immense psychological strain. It’s the death of an old cultural story that’s happening right now.
People are going through monumental shifts in their personal lives. Collectively, we are witnessing the peak of public distrust in institutions across both the left and the right. This reflects both the Fourth Turning and the rebellious, anti-authoritarian energy of Pluto in Aquarius being involved in this triangle.
It’s no longer about left versus right; both institutional frameworks are outdated and will need to be dismantled and rebuilt as new values eventually replace them. All of these will be themes and the process we will continue to go through in the next five to eight years.
The outer planets being in fire and air promise that the changes will accelerate. They won’t be slow and gentle. They will be very quick and disruptive.
Even if you look at AI and how quickly it changed the landscape of the Internet, you can see this is going to be a crazy era. It’s just going to get weirder, and stranger, and stranger.”
