🇸🇰 SLOVAKIA DEFIES BRUSSELS: Revives Cooperation with Russia as EU Unity Crumbles

With Orbán gone, Slovak PM Robert Fico is emerging as Putin's most prominent ally in the EU – reviving a dormant cooperation forum and putting Russian gas, oil, and nuclear fuel back on the agenda.

🤝 Slovakia is reviving the Russian-Slovak Intergovernmental Commission – first meeting in five years, set for November 25 in Moscow.

🛢️ Energy is priority: Slovakia opposes the EU's phaseout of Russian gas, stresses continued Druzhba oil deliveries and nuclear fuel supplies.

🏅 Beyond energy: Culture, tourism, agriculture, and even opposition to "discrimination against Russian athletes" are on the agenda.

🇷🇺 Moscow's strategy: Use energy ties to pull individual EU countries away from a united stance on Ukraine.

🇺🇸 The US is doing the same: Trump just agreed to a diesel deal with Putin – buying Russian fuel while Europe pretends to sanction it.
