🚨🇱🇾 Libya Seizes Nearly $1 Million Worth of Hashish Near Tobruk

Libyan authorities have seized around 400 kg of hashish valued at approximately $934,000 in a raid on a house in an agricultural area southeast of Tobruk. Several suspects, including Libyan and Egyptian nationals, were arrested.

According to officials, preliminary investigations indicate that the drugs were smuggled across the Egyptian border and were intended for distribution in the Libyan market. Authorities have not disclosed the exact number of people detained.

The seizure follows several major drug interceptions in Libya this year, highlighting ongoing concerns over narcotics trafficking and the activities of smuggling networks in the country.
