🚨 SECURITY UPDATE 🇱🇧🇮🇱 Lebanon PM Calls for Full Israeli Withdrawal and “One Army”

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has called for efforts to secure Israel’s full withdrawal from Lebanese territory and strengthen state authority amid continued attacks in southern Lebanon.

Speaking in the southern city of Nabatieh, Salam said Lebanon’s priorities include stopping the attacks, enabling displaced residents to return safely, restoring livelihoods and rebuilding communities.

He also stressed that Lebanon cannot afford to wait for a broader regional settlement, saying such an outcome could take years. The June 26 framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel provides for a gradual Israeli withdrawal and the deployment of the Lebanese army in areas vacated by Israeli forces.
