Turkey bought Russia’s S-400s to stick it to NATO. Now it wants to sell them — but needs Moscow’s permission — just to beg back into the F-35 club.

Lavrov says Ankara hasn’t even formally asked, and any buyer (Qatar? UAE?) can’t send them to Ukraine.

So the “sovereign” defense move was a self-own: billions spent, sanctions earned, F-35s lost, and Russia still holds the end-user certificate.

This isn’t strategy. It’s Erdogan trying to return an expensive toy without the receipt — and finding out Russia owns the return policy. 🎪
