Donald Trump has pushed hard to find a way to end this war.

But this Israeli government keeps moving the goalposts, continuing attacks and the destruction of civilian infrastructure, refusing to withdraw and confining Palestinians to roughly one-third of Gaza.

These can no longer be described as temporary military measures or consequences of war.

Accountability begins by calling things what they are: an attempt to erase Palestinian life and impose a new territorial reality in Gaza.
