🚨🇮🇳 MoD Signs ₹811 Crore SAT-SAAW Deal with BDL

India’s Ministry of Defence has signed a ₹811 crore contract with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for 160 Satellite Smart Anti-Airfield Weapons (SAT-SAAW) for the Indian Air Force.

🔹 60% indigenous content
🔹 Developed by DRDO
🔹 Indigenous components include IMU, Long Impact Delay Fuse & Twin Store Carrier
🔹 Delivery planned during 2027–28 and 2028–29

📌 SAT-SAAW is the satellite-guided variant of DRDO’s SAAW family, with the main difference being its guidance configuration for precision targeting.
