Indian Railways is conducting the world’s first trial of an electrified triple-stack dwarf container train on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. The low-height containers can carry high-volume domestic cargo such as plastics and FMCG goods, while three containers can be stacked safely under overhead electric wires.
