King James I used 1 Samuel 15:23 to call witchcraft as "disobedience" and "the sin of witchcraft". In conclusion, King James I did not like witchcraft at all.
[23] For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
