King James I believed God's Law was higher than every law of man and called God's Law as "free and fupreame [supreme]"
"There is another law, of all Lawes free and fupreame, which is God's Lavv: And by this all Common and municipall Lawes muft be gouerned. And except they haue dependance upon this Law, they are vniuft [unjust] and vnlawfull. ... And God will not bleffe [bless] vs [us] in our own Lawes, if wee doe not reuerence and obey God's Law" (The Workes of the Most High and Mightie Prince, Iames, A Speach [Speech] in the Starre-chamber, Page 554 [Source] )
[Note: We are showing historical facts about King James VI of Scotland who became King James I of Great Britain, which includes England+Scotland. We are not advocating for any political parties/stuff.]
The more you actually look into King James I & what he firsthand wrote, the more you realize he was a godly, Christian, wise king who God mightly used during the early 1600s-1625. He was the British Solomon indeed
