King James I appointed Dr. John Rainolds [Reynolds] to "note thofe Chapters in the Apochrypha booke [Ecclefiafticus], where those offensive places were"[The svmme and svbstance of the conference which it pleased His Excellent Majestie: to have with the Lords Bishops and others of his clergie (at which the most of the Lords of the Councell were present) in his Majesties Privie-chamber at Hampton Court, Ianu. 14, 1603].Clearly (for those who promote the Apocrypha as so-called knowledge), King James I & translator John Rainolds did not believe the Apocrypha was either morally right or considered Scriptures.
