In the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, the Jesuits used their Catholic puppet, Guy Fawkes, and attempted to destroy and assasinate the KJB translators and King James I. Guy Fawkes and his Jesuit associates were found in the Parliament basment with many barrels of gunpowder, were captured, and promptly hung. The Jesuits were not able to stop the King James Bible from being completed, and so they made many modern versions like the NIV, ESV, NASV/NASB, etc, so that people get distracted by the hundreds of counterfiet, modern bible versions and have less of a chance to pick up the trustworthy and perfect King James Bible.
