Regarding π James I, some people will claim the KJB translators said the KJB is not perfect & that modern versions should be followed π₯΄
That lie is crushed by the 1611 KJB Translator's Preface
1611 Preface:
Truly (good Christian Reader) wee never thought from the beginning, that we should neede to make a new Translation, nor yet to make of a bad one a good one,...but to make a good one better, or out of many good ones, one principall good one,...that hath bene our indeavour, that our marke. 1900 Preface:
