Was King James I a Rothschild, and was he related to the Rothschild bankers?
No and no, because there is one major difference (between King James I and the Rothschild bankers)that show that King James I has NO connections with the Rothschilds.
First, King James I lived in Edinburgh Castle and in Edinburgh in Scotland as King James VI of Scotland, and from 1603 to 1625, he lived in England as King James I of England, Scotland, and Ireland.
However, the Rothschild bankers lived in Frankfort, Germany from 1577 to the 1800s, and started to became prominent bankers in the 1760s, which is 135 years after King James I died in 1625. Also, note that King James I never visited or traveled to Frankfort, Germany.
So did King James I travel to Germany in order to become or be related to the Rothschild bankers? No, as King James traveled only once out of the British Isles (which involves England, Scotland, & Ireland) to Oslo, Norway in order to have a formal wedding with Anne of Denmark at the Old Bishop's Palaxce in Oslo and bring Anne to Scotland. Due to Anne ship's being delayed by storms after traveling from Denmark and reaching Norway, King James VI traveled to Norway, formally married Anne of Denmark at the Old Bishop's Palace in Oslo, Norway on November 23, 1589, and brought Anne with him to Scotland.
King James I never traveled to or lived in Germany, was provabily not a Rothschild, and did not even meet or have a financial or any type of relationship with them (Rothschilds/Rothschild bankers).
Thus, the accusation that King James I was somehow a Rothschild or was related to them, is a erroneous, slanderous lie that some critics use in their vain attempts to discredit him and the King James Bible.
