When it comes to copyright, the KJB (King James Bible) was finished in 1611 BUT the first copyright law ever made and legalized in the world was in 1710. 1st copyright was the British Statute of Anne (also called Copyright Act 1709) [of] enacted in 1710, full title "An Act for the Encouragement of Learning, by vesting the Copies of Printed Books in the Authors or purchasers of such Copies, during the Times therein mentioned".
So basically the KJB was not copyrighted because the first ever copyright law, which is the British Statute of Anne, was made 99 years AFTER the KJB was finished in 1611.
King James I did not write the King James Bible, and the King James Bible has no copyright! The King James Bible is the Book of the LORD that Isaiah 34:16 KJB speaks of!
It is amazing that God inspires AND preserves His inspired, pure, preserved Word forever for all generations in spite of man's actions!
Psalm 12:6-7 KJB
[6] The words of the LORD are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
[7] Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, Thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.β
