Last week we talked about bridges on TON and explored their use cases. Today we prepared a guide on how to transfer your funds to the bridge step by step.
First let’s speak about fees. The bridge takes at least 5 TON for its usage plus 0.25% of the number of coins. For example, if you’re going to send via the bridge 100 TON, you will have to pay 5 + 0.25 TON as a fee. And also don’t forget about fees either in BNB or ETH, depending on the chosen bridge.
1. Make sure you have installed TON Wallet Extension for Google Chrome. If not, visit this page to get it.
2. Download Metamask, a cryptocurrency wallet for Google Chrome, and create a new account. There you will store your wrapped TONs.
3. [Only if you’re going to use the TON-BEP20 Bridge] In the upper right corner of the page, click on the "Ethereum Mainnet" button and then to the "Add Network" button and fill these fields:

https://bscscan.com4. Deposit either BNB or ETH tokens on your Metamask wallet. The number of coins will be given in the next step.
5. Go to the ton.org/bridge and choose one of two bridges. On this page, you can also see the gas fee.
6. Enter the amount of TON you want to transfer and your address from Metamask.
7. Click the "Transfer" button and confirm the transaction on TON Wallet.
That’s all! Your coins will arrive on your Metamask account soon.
