⭐️ Fomo — the crypto social app we didn’t build

⚫️ Fomo officially launched in May 2025, with the team saying it wanted to onboard more than 10 million users. A year and a half later, the app is generating over $1 million a day in fees, while people across X and Telegram are already calling it “the future of trading.”

⚫️ The formula is pretty simple: Fomo put everything a casual trader needs into one app. A feed of influencer calls, a custodial wallet with Apple Pay deposits, and a trade aggregator that lets users buy tokens without leaving the app. It also works across all the major chains: you can fund your account on one network and use the same balance to trade across several others.

⚫️ By bringing the entire memecoin trading flow into one place, Fomo has become an almost perfect entry point for normies. Instead of juggling several crypto apps and figuring out how they all work, you get one product that handles the whole experience.

⚫️ TON once felt exciting because the idea of taking Telegram — an already massive social app — and embedding crypto directly into it seemed bold and unique. Back then, very few platforms were in a position to do something like that, and there simply weren’t that many truly massive apps to begin with.

👁 Fomo took the opposite route: it started with a crypto product and layered social features on top, making the whole experience seamless and easy for regular users to understand. Right now, more than 100,000 people are actively trading in the app, while the total number of traders has already passed 1.5 million.
