❗️Washington Post photojournalist injured in Israeli settler pogrom near Ramallah
Heidi Levine, a 63-year-old photojournalist working with The Washington Post in the occupied West Bank, was injured in an Israeli settler attack on the Palestinian village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah.
According to Levine, the Israeli settlers also stole her press gear during the attack.
Independent journalist Andrey X, who uploaded a video of the attack, said that Israeli occupation forces tear gassed and assaulted Palestinians as Israeli settlers attacked.
WAFA reported that a Palestinian man was shot in the thigh with live ammunition, while two other people were beaten.
Israeli settlers, operating under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, have attacked Palestinian olive pickers at several locations around Ramallah since the morning, as Palestinians begin the annual olive harvest amid escalating settler violence across the occupied West Bank.
