❗️10 ships targeted near Hormuz since Sunday, highest toll since start of war on Iran

Ten vessels have been targeted in or near the Strait of Hormuz since Sunday, marking the highest number recorded over such a period since the war began, AFP reported.

Data from security firm Vanguard, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) showed that six vessels were targeted on Sunday, the highest number of attacks in a single day since the US and Israel launched their war on Iran, followed by four more on Tuesday.

The number of recorded attacks since the beginning of October has reached 23, nearly double the monthly average since the outbreak of the war.
