❗️Saudi energy minister warns kingdom will respond seriously to recent events

Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman has warned that Riyadh will respond "equally seriously" to recent developments, telling delegates at the WPC Energy Congress that the kingdom's security risks remain despite hosting the international gathering.

"You know this country is safe and that we hold your protection at whole heart," the minister said, while cautioning that the gathering did not mean "the risk is gone."

"Our gathering here does not mean the risk is gone," he said, adding that recent events were serious and Saudi Arabia's response would be equally serious.
