❗️Yemeni Armed Forces announce four strikes on Saudi airports and Aramco facilities, renew aviation warning
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree announced in a new statement on Sunday evening that Yemeni forces carried out four military operations over the past 24 hours in response to 124 Saudi airstrikes carried out during the previous day on Sanaa, Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Hodeidah, and Saada, bringing the total number of Saudi airstrikes since the latest escalation to 2,058.
According to the statement, the first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh in three phases beginning the previous evening, disrupting air traffic and forcing the airport's complete closure.
The second targeted Aramco's Shaqdam gas station in the Eastern Province, while the third struck the Aramco Tanajib oil facility, with both attacks causing major fires. The fourth operation targeted King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, disrupting airport operations.
Separately, Saree said Yemeni forces launched six ballistic missiles and two drones against Saudi military gatherings in Ras al-Ara and Al-Suqya, and that dozens of Saudi troops were killed and wounded.
He also said Yemeni air defenses forced several Saudi warplane formations to retreat using locally made surface-to-air missiles.
The statement renewed warnings to international airlines, aviation companies, experts, employees, workers, and travelers against using Saudi airports and airspace, describing them as military targets, while exempting the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
The Yemeni Armed Forces said they would continue operations deep inside Saudi Arabia and maintain their declared policy of "blockade for blockade" and "escalation for escalation" until the Saudi military campaign and blockade of Yemen come to an end.
