❗️Statement by Hamas:

"The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) emphasizes that the escalation of colonial-settler terrorism and attacks by the occupation forces in the West Bank – including the targeting of farmers and olive pickers, burning of vehicles, seizure of property, raids on homes, and the arrest of civilians – come as part of a systematic aggression campaign directed by Netanyahu's terrorist government and carried out by colonial-settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, in an attempt to impose a reality of annexation, displacement, and control over the West Bank.

The occupation and the Netanyahu government's attempts to subjugate our people through terrorism, killing, detention, and displacement are doomed to failure. Our people, deeply rooted in their land and holding fast to their rights, will not be intimidated by the occupation's crimes, nor their will be broken, and they will continue their legitimate struggle and resistance until they restore their freedom and defeat the occupation.

We warn of the consequences of the continuing crimes of the occupation and the terrorism of its colonial-settlers. We urge the international community, the UN bodies, and the free peoples around the world to assume their responsibilities, translate their statements of condemnation into practical steps to hold the occupation's criminal leaders accountable, and put an end to the colonial-settlers' attacks on our people, land, and holy sites.

We call for strengthening our people's resilience, particularly as the olive harvest begins – a season with national symbolism that embodies our deep roots in the land and our commitment to our rights – and for expanding on-the-ground support for farmers, countering colonial-settler attacks against them and their property, and providing them with the necessary support to confront these crimes."
