❗️US embassy in Jordan warns of regional escalation as Saudi Arabia faces cross-border attacks

The US Embassy in Amman has issued a security alert urging American citizens across the region to exercise heightened vigilance amid what it described as a "complex security environment and risks of rapid escalation."

The alert cites attacks by Yemen's Armed Forces on Saudi Arabia, including strikes on airports and critical infrastructure, while warning that Iran and groups aligned with Tehran may target US interests overseas.

The notice warns of possible flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions, advising US citizens to monitor local developments, check flight information directly with airlines, avoid demonstrations and large gatherings, and remain alert around US-linked locations.
