❗️Yemeni Armed Forces announce downing of Saudi drone, strikes on military sites and Riyadh airport

• Ansarallah-led Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree announced on Thursday morning that Yemeni forces had shot down a Turkish-made Bayraktar Akıncı armed reconnaissance drone operated by Saudi Arabia over Taiz while it was carrying out hostile missions.

• Saree also said Yemeni forces targeted Saudi military gatherings at Qa'awa Camp in Ras al-Ara with ballistic missiles, causing direct hits, multiple casualties, and fires at several weapons depots. He added that simultaneous ballistic missile strikes targeted Saudi mobilizations south of Bab al-Mandab, Al-Suqya, and Ras al-Ara, resulting in dozens of killed and wounded.

• Separately, Saree announced a ballistic missile strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, saying it hit its target accurately and disrupted airport operations. He renewed a final warning to international airlines against operating flights through Saudi airspace, stating it had become a theater of Yemeni military operations, with the exception of the airspace over the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
