❗️Saudi-backed forces claim gains near Bab al-Mandab as Ansarallah media disputes advance

Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces claim that they have seized positions in the Dhubab district overlooking the Bab al-Mandab strait, with Reuters citing three military sources and a government source as saying the forces had taken large parts of the strategically located area under heavy Saudi-led coalition air support.

The reported advance is part of an effort by Saudi-backed forces to push back Ansarallah's territorial gains and establish control over the Bab al-Mandab, a key maritime passage.

Ansarallah-aligned media had earlier rejected claims that the Saudi-backed forces had made advances in the area.
