❗️UAE withdraws landing permits for Israeli evacuation flights from Dubai

Israel's El Al canceled two evacuation flights scheduled for Friday to bring stranded Israelis home from Dubai after the UAE withdrew landing approval for Israeli carriers. El Al said it remains ready to operate the flights once official authorization is granted.

"Due to the cancellation of approval for Israeli companies to land in Dubai, as was reported by the authorities in Israel, we are forced to cancel, at this stage, our rescue flights," the airline said.

The Times of Israel confirmed the cancellation, while Israeli media reported that overnight talks between Israeli and Emirati officials failed to secure final approval.

The cancellations follow the suspension of flydubai services to Israel after an incident aboard a Dubai-Tel Aviv flight that diverted to Saudi Arabia. The UAE has launched an investigation into the incident, while the reason for withdrawing landing permits for the Israeli evacuation flights has not been publicly explained.
