❗️Kushner firm holds stake in Israeli financial group invested in arms companies
US envoy Jared Kushner's investment firm, Affinity Partners, is the largest shareholder in an Israeli financial group that has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in companies tied to Israel's defense sector, according to a CNN investigation published Thursday.
Affinity Partners first invested $128.5 million in Phoenix Financial in 2024 and doubled its stake in January 2025, five days before Donald Trump took office, CNN reported.
Phoenix has invested at least $456 million in nine companies linked to Israel's defense sector, including at least $265.1 million in Elbit Systems, according to the investigation.
The investments have raised questions over potential conflicts of interest given Kushner's role as a US envoy involved in 'diplomacy' concerning Gaza and other regional wars.
Kushner does not hold an official US government position and is therefore not subject to the financial disclosure requirements that apply to government officials, according to CNN.
