❗️IRGC says US not responding to 'daily' attacks on ships in Strait of Hormuz

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi said Tuesday that ships are being targeted and prevented from transiting the Strait of Hormuz on a daily basis, claiming the US has not responded.

"We have been hitting small ships and preventing them from passing for a long time, but America does not respond," Mohebbi told Fars News Agency.

His remarks came as the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported several vessels struck in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, including a liquefied natural gas tanker and a crude oil tanker. UKMTO said the vessels were hit by "unknown projectiles" and that authorities were investigating.
