❗️Israeli occupation forces impose weeklong lockdown on occupied West Bank

Israel has imposed a weeklong comprehensive closure across the occupied West Bank, shutting crossings into the territory until 3 October, according to WAFA.

Israeli officials said the measure coincides with the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, while the restrictions include tighter military measures at checkpoints and barriers, further limiting Palestinians' movement and access to holy sites.

According to WAFA, Israeli occupation forces have already tightened restrictions around Ramallah and Al-Bireh, closed multiple roads and entrances, and intensified military checkpoints in several towns, including Turmus Ayya, Aboud, Nabi Saleh, Atara, Taybeh, Yabroud, Ein Sinya, and Jaba', where vehicles are being searched and Palestinians' IDs checked.
