❗️Bab al-Mandab sees 26 ship transits on Thursday

A total of 26 commodity vessels crossed the Bab al-Mandab Strait on Thursday, with 12 ships entering and 14 exiting, according to shipping data from Kpler.

The figure was slightly lower than the 27 vessels recorded on Wednesday, but matched the 10-day average of around 26 ships using the strategic waterway.

Reuters reported that one of the vessels entering the strait was a laden very large crude carrier carrying Iraqi Basrah crude bound for Egypt.
