❗️Ansarallah warns US assets will become targets if Washington joins Saudi-Yemen war

Ansarallah has warned that US interests in the region will become targets if Washington intervenes militarily in Yemen in support of Saudi Arabia, according to a military official from the resistance movement.

"If America dares to intervene militarily with its fleets or tries to take control of Bab al-Mandab, it is a red line for them and anyone else... We will fight over it," Abed Mohammed al-Thawr told AFP in Sanaa.

He added that if Washington supports Saudi Arabia with airstrikes or other military assistance, "we will consider any American interests around us to be targets."

The warning comes after reports that the US had prepared to strike Ansarallah but called off the operation at the last minute. The New York Times reported that Washington was allegedly preparing attacks on Sunday before deciding not to proceed.
