There was never much certainty about what a morning at Brooklyn 18 would look like. By the time the precinct is properly awake, someone has usually already turned their desk into a disaster zone. Sometimes Peralta has decided that an ordinary investigation needs a little more enthusiasm than the situation calls for. Surprising? That was just Brooklyn 18 for you. 🚔 (9-AM-Menace!)

A fresh case can arrive in the middle of an ordinary morning and change the mood of the entire squad. Someone gets up from their desk and a conversation stops halfway through. Detective Peralta is already convinced he knows where the case is going, although it looks like Detective Santiago has three reasons to disagree with him. You’ve got to wonder if even Captain Holt would want to step in during moments like that.
