Telegram Surpasses One Billion Monthly Active Users

Pavel Durov announced on his channel that Telegram has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users. This achievement makes the messaging app the second most popular in the world after WhatsApp (excluding China's WeChat).

On average, users open Telegram approximately 21 times a day and spend 41 minutes daily on the app. Pavel also highlighted the profit of $547 million for 2024.
