Meduza Russia gives up and unblocks Telegram Russia’s federal censor, Roskomnadzor, announced on Thursday that it is lifting restrictions on access to the messaging platform Telegram. In a statement shared online, the agency says an agreement was reached with federal prosecutors to unblock the platform.

🆕 When you receive an invite link to popular private channel, you can view the channel for a few minutes without joining it, and decide whether you actually need to subscribe or not.

NOTES:
• Affect for channel with 200+ subscribers.
• When the time runs out (5 minutes), the apps will show an alert that you need to subscribe to the channel to keep reading it.
• You’ll be able to preview the channel again after 12 hours.
• Available on Telegram 6.2.1+ for Android, iOS, and macOS.

ℹ️ Sending small ‘Video as File’ from Gallery, it will be sent as Video (uncompressed & streamable)

• On iOS (New in Beta 6.2.1)
If the file size <20 MB

• On Android (6.2 or earlier)
If the file size <10 MB

• On native macOS (6.2 or earlier)
If the file size <10 MB for .mp4 only.
If you send any supported video (mp4, m4v, mov) as video, it will be sent as video (uncompressed & streamable).

• On TDesktop (2.1.10 or earlier)
It doesn't support send .mp4, .m4v, or .mov as file, so any supported video will always be sent as video (uncompressed & streamable).
