🇧🇷 Iconic former Dutch soccer player Clarence Seedorf took over as head coach of Corinthians in São Paulo with the mission of steering the popular club away from the relegation zone in the Brazilian league, following the departure of coach Fernando Diniz.
⚽ With international star Memphis Depay on the roster, the São Paulo club’s management opted for Seedorf’s experience in South American soccer, noting his tenure as coach of Botafogo from 2012 to 2013, as well as his track record leading clubs such as Milan and Deportivo de La Coruña.
🏆 The legendary former midfielder, a four-time European Champions League winner, faces the challenge of turning the team’s fortunes around with eight matchdays remaining in the league season.
