🚨 Nearly 2,000 Arrested in France During Student Protests

📌 Student protests intensified on October 1 in France, resulting in 1,949 arrests, according to the Ministry of the Interior. The incidents affected 1,027 schools and left 284 officers injured.

📍 Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu convened a crisis cabinet, and Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin called on the 36 attorneys general to ensure a “firm criminal response.”
