🚨 Cuba Asserts That the American People Do Not Support Washington’s “Maximum Pressure” Policy

🇨🇺 Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez stated on Thursday that American society does not endorse the “maximum pressure” policy against the island, rejects a possible military intervention, and disapproves of the oil embargo imposed at the beginning of the year.

⚠️ The minister stated on social media that:


“In 2026, the majority of Americans support maintaining diplomatic relations with Cuba, disapprove of the oil embargo, reject military intervention, and do not trust their president.”

🗽 Regarding Donald Trump’s speech at the UN, in which he called Cuba a “failed state,” Rodríguez maintained that the president’s remarks “do not reflect the views of the majority of the U.S. population.” The foreign minister insisted that Cuba is not a threat and that the U.S. embargo is.
