started watching documentaries in swedish, and I understand most of it! insane what passive learning can do to you (up till now whenever people would ask me about the languages I speak, I wouldn't even mention swedish lol). also, insane that it is my fourth year here and I am still not fluent. like how ignorant you (me) can be, when you move to a country solely for work purposes and everyone speaks english. I did follow Scandinavia club on VK as a teen, when I wanted to move to Norway for studies, but yea, never ever I wanted to move here as an adult. also like, I often meet people obsessed with Scandinavia, scandi languages etc, and it always seems so ridiculous to me, bcs I am here just by chance. BUT I think I learned my way around here, finally started to enjoy it a lot, how truly majic it can be, and the language is not so bad. I just really need to start speaking MORE. another proof how much the perception matters for receiving and learning the language.
