Cherokee-style Triple Drone Flute
Eagle Flute

The maker and player is Luka Lesnik. He hand-carves these flutes in Slovenia. It’s 3 flutes in one body, joined at the top in an A-frame:

- *Middle flute:* the melody flute — that’s the one with finger holes, what his hands are on
- *Two outer flutes:* drone flutes — no finger holes, they play one continuous deep note, like a didgeridoo or like a hive

When you blow, all three sound at once. So you get melody + harmony + earth tone, like three voices. That carved double-wing at the bottom is his signature — an eagle, to carry the prayer.

It’s a modern evolution of the Native American flute tradition, but made as a ceremonial instrument. He calls it “a song that thanks the spirit of the water for the life it gives.”

It is made to sound like wind and water and a flock breathing as one. One breath, many tones.

Kingscliff, North Coast, New South Wales, Australia

On July 28, 2026, drone pilot Alexander Forrest was volunteering for ORRCA — Organisation for the Rescue and Research of Cetaceans in Australia — filming the annual humpback migration on what they call the “humpback highway”.

He noticed one female swimming unusually slow behind her pod. Then a cloud of red bloomed — he thought predator attack at first — and then a pale white calf shot to the surface for its very first breath.

It’s only the *4th time in history a full humpback birth has ever been filmed*, and the *first time ever captured by drone* from the air.

The mother stayed with the calf for hours after, teaching it how to breathe, how to be. You can see it in the end — that tiny white body learning how to be held by the ocean that is not separate from us.

October – The Month Of The Great Crossing

October arrives after the Equinox, when one season is completing while another is quietly beginning to emerge.

Think for a moment about the ancient navigators and voyagers who crossed vast oceans guided not by modern maps, but by the stars, winds, currents, migration of the birds, ocean waves and an intuitive knowing of the natural world. They understood that we do not need to know the entire journey to know when it is time to leave the shore.

This feels like the spiritual invitation of October. We stand at the edge of what has been, gathering the wisdom of our experiences and deciding what we are ready to carry forward and what has completed its purpose. In these monumental times of change and uncertainty, nothing is carved in stone. We cannot know exactly which path our collective consciousness will choose. We can only become quiet enough to listen.

Our ancient navigators and voyagers knew that September is traditionally a peak time for humpback migration, yet across several island regions there were significantly fewer whales than in previous years. There may be many reasons — changing ocean conditions, El Niño, shifts in food availability, ocean noise or seismic activity.

But perhaps there is another kind of listening being asked of us too. When the voices of nature become harder to hear, we must listen more deeply. To become quiet enough to notice what is changing around us, and within us.

Pyrosome, Las Palmas, Canary Islands

Pyrosome means "fire body" in Greek.

It looks like one animal, but it's not. It's a colony of thousands of tiny animals called zooids, all cloned from one, all joined together in a hollow tube. Each little dot you see sparkling on the tube wall is an individual zooid. They pump water through the tube together to move, to feed, to breathe — as one.

Pyrosomes are bioluminescent. When one zooid is touched with light, it tells the next, and the next, so a wave of light travels down the whole colony. Sailors used to think the sea was on fire.

Usually they live deep, 100s of meters down. When they float near the surface like in the video, it's a very special moment. They can grow up to 10-15 meters long — longer than a whale shark. They are not jellyfish, they are tunicates. Completely harmless, just filtering plankton.

"The story of Finn MacCool building a path across the sea to fight the Scottish giant Benandonner perfectly mirrors the geography. Across the water in Scotland, on the Isle of Staffa, the exact same hexagonal columns appear (Fingal's Cave). When you look at the interlocking hexagonal pillars, they don't look like a chaotic volcano exploded. They look like intentional, perfectly level pavement tiles or the structural foundations of a massive ancient build."

It's even telling us.

The Largest Land Mammal Migration on Earth

South Sudan plays host to one of nature's most spectacular events: the Great Nile Migration, the largest land mammal migration on Earth.

For most of the past half century, one of the greatest wildlife spectacles has unfolded almost entirely unseen.

The setting for this incredible seasonal movement is the Great Nile Migration Landscape (GNML) in the southeast of South Sudan, across which some six million white-eared kob, Mongalla gazelle, tiang and reedbuck journey – crossing into Gambella National Park in Ethiopia as well.

Buffalo's Triumphal Bridge and the Atlantean columns.
All made of wood and cardboard.

You could sail a gondola underneath every bridge around the symmetrical water ways.

Look at the waterways - this is what you're seeing in the picture - extrapolate the symmetry.
The story about the 'welcome to all nations' is the cover story. it's about an advanced noble civilization, standing triumphant on the triumphal bridge, not about our gimmicks or our multicultural cope.
This wasn't one of our gimmick achievements to pretend to be proud about, this was a real 'Greco-Roman' style fully functional floating city.
